In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation and unity, five communities in Kwara, including Fiwakesin, Onisona, Ifedapo, Tanmola, and Ifesowapo, gathered on New Year’s Day to offer special prayers for Governor AbdulRazaq, Chief of Staff, Alhaji (Prince) AbdulKadir Mahe, and Commissioner for Energy, Mallam AbdulGaniyu Kola.
The communities, situated along Technical College Road in Ogidi, Okolowo-Area, Ilorin, came together to express their gratitude to His Excellency , Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for his giant strides in developing the state and his transformation agenda in improving the welfare of the citizens of the state. The community as well urge the State Governor to approve the their recent request for Electricity Transformer that will significantly improve their lives.
Islamic scholars led prayers for the successful tenure of the Governor, Chief of Staff, and Commissioner for Energy, extending their well-wishes to the state, Nigeria, and all community members.
Alh AbdulRahman Alabi, Chairman of Fiwakesin Community, conveyed the communities’ appreciation to the governor and his team for the transformative initiative, pledging continued support.
Mallam Tunde Edun, representing Ifesowapo Community, also seized the opportunity to highlight pressing needs, urging the government to intervene in areas such as community access roads, schools, and hospitals. The communities eagerly await positive strides toward development in these essential aspects, embracing the new year with hope and unity.
