Jamiu Magaji, Chairman of the Kwara State Disabilities Association, also expressed dissatisfaction with the committee’s actions. He revealed that they had earlier paid a condolence visit to Senator Saraki in Lagos and were assured that their names would be added to the list of attendees. However, they were later informed by Alh Musa Abdullah, Kwara Ex-Speaker, Hon Ali Ahmad and Alh Nasir Zubair Agenda that there was no space for them to attend after Senator Bukola Saraki has granted them offer to attend the funeral. He said they did this because they are Hausa Disabilities.

Magaji praised Senator Saraki for his support and advocacy for people with disabilities during his tenure as Governor and afterwards. However, he urged the Senator to distance himself from those around him who do not share his vision for inclusivity and development.

The exclusion of the disabilities group from the burial ceremony has sparked concerns about accessibility and inclusivity in Kwara State’s social and political events.
