Kwara Education Commissioner tours Kwara South Schools, urges parental support

Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, embarked on a supervisory visit to schools in Kwara South Senatorial District, praising schools and students who achieved outstanding results in the recent JAMB exams.

During her visit to schools in Irepodun, Offa, and Oyun LGAs, the Commissioner oversaw the conduct of the 2024 May/June Examinations, encouraging students to stay focused and wishing them success. She also assessed the implementation of the KwaraLearn program in public primary schools, interacting with learners and educators to gauge its effectiveness.

Hajia Sa’adatu expressed gratitude to Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq for his commitment to enhancing Kwara’s education sector and for the opportunity to serve the state. She emphasized the importance of parental involvement in education during a meeting with PTA members at St. Paul LGEA School in Omu-Aran, acknowledging the vital role parents play in their children’s academic success.

The visit concluded with appreciation from parents, teachers, and students, commending both Governor AbdulRazaq and Commissioner Kawu for their dedication to improving education in Kwara State and wishing them continued success.
