The Kwara for Kwara sociopolitical movement has met with Engr. Umar Sha’aba, a top APC Chieftain and the Wakili of Lafiagi, this is part of the ongoing consultation process that the group initiated a while ago.

The group urged Engr. Umar Sha’aba to stand with the truth (whether fashionable or not), and to also use his influence to galvanise likeminds in order to achieve a Pan-Kwaran government.

While responding, Engr. Umar Sha’aba appreciated the group for reckoning with him, he also lamented the unfortunate situation the state is, and posited that we can’t afford to be “foolish” again, hence, all hands must be on deck to do the right thing at the right.

The group also met with the member representing Balogun/Ojomu constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Honourable Prince Saheed Popoola, who is also the most senior member of the Assembly.

He warmly embraced the ideals of the group, and applauded it for generating creative tension in the polity. He also said that the activities of the group have waked up a lot of party stakeholders, urging it to do more till its mission is achieved.
