The Kwara State Government has facilitated the establishment of a new Computer Based Training (CBT) Centre in Igbaja, Ifelodun Local Government Area, with 250 units of computers procured for the centre.

The State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde, who led a government delegation affirmed this development today in Igbaja, where the official commissioning and handover ceremony of the centre took place.
The Commissioner in her speech, emphasized that the establishment of the CBT centre has reflected the unwavering commitment of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to the education sector in the state.
She disclosed that the gesture would significantly alleviate the challenges faced by students around the igbaja axis during the JAMB Examination, and also offer them greater access to modern tools essential for their academic success.
The Elese of Igbaja, Oba (Dr.) Ahmed Awuni Babalola Arepo III appraised the state government for finding Igbaja community worthy of such development,
assuring that the facility would be put to optimal use and under safe watch.
The Royal Father maintained that Governor AbdulRazaq has been magnanimous in his leadership style and prayed God Almighty to continue to strengthen him in his determination to take kwara to greater heights.
The representative of Mac Gable Global Services Limited, Mr. Patrick Aibangbee, who described the inniative as highly commendable, disclosed further that the company had supplied 250 units of computers according to specifications as requested by the governor, pointing out that they are quality systems for CBT exercise.
In his goodwill message, the Registrar of Adewale Ibrahim College of Health Sciences and Technology, Buari Mr. Owolabi John, who represented the Chief Executive Director said the College would offer 50% scholarship payment for 50 candidates who are indigenes of Igbaja, and another 25% for non-indigenes as part of its efforts to support the take-off of the CBT Centre.
One of the beneficiaries, Oyinloye Ayomide Devine of Baptist Grammar School, Igbaja, thanked the governor for bringing the CBT Centre to their community, adding that it would ease their transportation cost and also lessen the burden of travelling to Ilorin for the examination.
