Hon.(Prince) Abdullateef Atolagbe Adebara, the Special Assistant to the Kwara state Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq on Humanitarian Affairs, recently undertook a significant working visit to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Abuja. Adebara was warmly received by Mr Abel O. Enitan, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.

Expressing gratitude for the youth inclusion in Kwara State’s governance, the Permanent Secretary praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s efforts in humanitarian services and poverty reduction. He affirmed the ministry’s continuous support, citing the existing synergy between Minister Dr Betta Edu and Governor AbdulRazaq.

Emphasizing the federal government’s commitment to Kwara’s citizens amid ongoing Conditional Cash Transfer initiatives, Enitan appealed to Governor AbdulRazaq to maintain financial support for programs benefiting Kwarans. He stressed the importance of grassroots advocacy, ensuring that the ministry’s programs reach those in need.

Rt. Hon. Raheem Olawuyi, Chairman House Committee on Humanitarian Affairs, affirmed his trust in Governor AbdulRazaq’s government. Beyond constituency engagement, he pledged 100% support, particularly in attracting opportunities for Kwarans in humanitarian services.

Dist. Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule, Chairman Senate Committee on Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation, commended the appointment of capable youths into political offices by Governor AbdulRahman. She pledged collaboration with the state government to provide essential information on humanitarian services and poverty alleviation.

In a show of solidarity, Hon.Dr Ahmed Adamu Saba and Dist.Senator Sadiq earned praise for facilitating access to their colleagues, Sen. Idiat and Hon. Ajulo-Opin, in the two chambers. Together, they pledged unwavering support for Governor AbdulRazaq’s initiatives, fostering renewed hope and progress for a better Kwara.
