The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Hadji Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf, has approved the appointment of the Local Government Secretary and Supervisory Councillors for the Local Government, in line with his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance.

The Chairman ensured a 50-50 gender representation among the newly appointed Supervisory Councillors.

Dr. Akorede Kamilu Abiodun a seasoned medical practitioner, dedicated and well-respected Youth of Ile-Ire Ward has been appointed as Secretary to the Local Government.

Akorede, who served as Director of Special Duties for the FEMI/NIKE Campaign Council, is widely known for his grassroots engagement and professional excellence.

Also appointed is Hon. Michael Taiwo Babatunde, a former Councillor from Agunjin Ward, who played a key role as Director of Welfare of the FEMI/NIKE campaign Organization at the last Council Poll .

Other Supervisor appointees’ include Mrs. Taiye Folashade Johnson from Idofian Ward I, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Asejere from Oke-Ode Ward III and Mrs. Kolo Rebecca from Share Ward V.

The Chairman charged them to serve with integrity, dedication, and a clear commitment to the development of Ifelodun Local Government.

All appointees are expected to be sworn in in due time.
