Kwara North stakeholder sues for calmness over ministerial position, applauds Gov Abdulrazaq for effective governance

Our correspondents paid a courtesy visit to the Director Community and Rural Development of the National Hydro-Electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC), Dr. Mahmud Umar Muhammad at his country home in Patigi, Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State at the early hours of on Monday. The visit which aim was to thank the Director for the numerous contributions and impacts extended to the various axis in Nigeria and to also sample his opinion on the persistent exclusion of Kwara Northerners for Ministerial appointment.

“Your visitation is a right decision ever and you came barely at the time media houses are needed to address some issues of attention within our State for the public digest”, the Director said.

The Director who expressed to our team that protecting and strengthening democracy is our individuals’ responsibility as party men, supporters, loyalists and citizens with great passion for the development of Kwara North, Kwara and Nigeria at large. Though, Kwara North as since long due for a MINISTERIAL opportunity, but we lost it for good reasons well known to the Almighty Allah and the party.

I want to use this medium to seek for our individuals’ calmness over this issue of Ministerial appointment that we lost. I plead to the various groups, associations and concerned individuals within and outside Kwara North to halt agitations for the purpose of one Kwaran. *”What is coming is greater than what we lost”* the Director said.

In furtherance of this, we must support and commend the administration of our Governor, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) and the Chairman Nigeria Governors’ Forum for flying with a purple color. “I build my confidence in his administration to deliver on it’s campaign manifestos, we are so lucky to have such an experienced leader in the State”, the director claimed.

In spite of all, “I sue for support and prayers for the Kwara State Ministerial Nominee, Fagbemi Abdulateef (SAN) from Kwara South for Allah’s guardian and guidance to carryout and deliver this national tasks ahead of him while we shall also be engaging him for our pound of flesh on regular basis, because our brother is a very accessable man” the Director narrated.

Finally I salute the leadership of our great party both at the State and the National for their prompt attention to issues of concern in other to strengthen our democracy, party and the National in general.
