The Student Union Government (SUG) of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has conferred the Exemplary Leadership Award on Engr. Suleiman Rotimi Iliasu, a former Commissioner for Works and Transport, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to infrastructural development in Kwara State and his commitment to youth empowerment.

According to SUG President, Sen. Ayotunde Emmanuel Kehinde, the award is a testament to Engr. Rotimi’s dedication to excellence and his inspiring leadership, which has made a significant impact on the lives of many young people in the state.

The award was presented at the 2024 Leadership Summit, held at the Mohammed Alabi Lawal Auditorium, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, on June 20, 2024.

Engr. Suleiman Rotimi Iliasu, a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FNIMechE), was honored for his selfless service and commitment to the development of Kwara State and the nation at large.
