The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has mourned the death of a student of the University of Ilorin who died in a motor accident.

Rt. Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu also sympathized with a few others who sustained various injuries in the unfortunate incident.

“We are very devastated to learn about the fatal accident, may the good Lord rest the soul of the departed, our condolences to his family and those he left behind in this trying period. We also wish those who sustained various degrees of injuries quick recovery”, the Speaker said in a statement.

The Speaker while also condoling the Vice Chancellor, the Management team, and the university community on the sad development called for more safety measures to guard against future recurrence.
