Kwara State Young Progressive Party (YPP) has mourned the death of Alhaji Dr. Abdulkareem Ayodele Gobir, brother of Madawaki of Ilorin and Kwara political gladiator, Waziri Yakubu Gobir.

This much was contained in a press statement signed by the State Coordinator of YPP, Chief Dele Ogunbayo and made available to newsmen in Ilorin, the state capital.

He made it known that the death of Dr Abdulkareem Ayodele is sad, and prayed to God to grant the Gobir family the fortitude to bear the loss.

“Our heartfelt condolences to Waziri Yakubu Gobir, his loving family and friends over the demise of Dr Abdulkareem Ayodele.”

“It is a known fact that death is one of the harsh realities of life that we have to accept, but nothing prepares us for the death of a loved one.”

“We, therefore, urge Waziri Yakubu Gobir to take solace in the good life lived by our deceased brother and that he has passed on to a much better place.”

“We pray to Almighty God to forgive the departed soul, grant him paradise.”
