KwaraPoly Alumni Executives Visit Member Who Lost Three Kids, Donate Cash

The Kwara State Polytechnic Worldwide Alumni Association Executives, led by Pro Tem President Engr. Abu Salami, extended heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Saad Shade Silifat, who tragically lost all three of her children.

Mrs. Silifat, an alumna of the Department of Business Administration, was warmly received by the delegation, which included Evang. James Ogunlakin (Vice President I), Mrs. Sulyman Bukola (Vice President II), Mr. Ibraheem Abdulganeey (General Secretary), Mrs. Issa Idowu Iyabo (Assistant General Secretary), Mr. Abdulwahab Opeyemi (Assistant Welfare Director), and Comrade Oba Abdulazeez Omobolaji (Public Relations Officer II).

Also present were President Sen. Emmanuel, General Secretary Sen. Lukman Elkay, and Speaker Rtd. Aisha, along with Comrade Janta of the Kwara State Polytechnic Student Union (SUG).

The tragic incident occurred on Sunday, February 25, as the children succumbed to suffocation while their mother was out purchasing noodles for their school meals the following day. In a gesture of support, the Alumni President presented a cash gift, conveying the community’s sympathy and the Polytechnic management’s condolences, while praying for Mrs. Silifat’s strength during this difficult time.
