The Kwara State House of Assembly aspirant for Edu State Constituency, Abubakar Sadiq Buhari today paid a courtesy call on a stakeholder from Edu and Former House of Representatives Member, Engr. Yahaya Yunusa in his Ilorin residence.

The aspirant in company of supporters and well wishers had visited the former lawmaker to formally intimate him of his interest to represent his people in the Kwara State House of Assembly in the election year.

Buhari in his words said he decided to offer himself in the service of his people because of the opportunities he has discovered could be of immense benefits to the constituents if well harnessed, noting that his visit was to brief a father figure and an influential politician whose wise counsel has always been a good point of reference.

He reiterated his commitment to put the interest of the masses ahead of any personal interest while calling on the electorate to give the youths an opportunity to show their leadership capacity which he reassured, will redefine legislative governance in Edu LGA.

While responding, Engr. Yunusa commended the decision by the aspirant to represent his people. He said the youths have very important roles to play in nation building and hence should be seen participating more actively in the democratic process.
