The Kwara state government has again reiterated its determination to put an end to the scarcity of water experienced in some part of the state.
The State Commissioner for Water Resources, Alhaji Abdulwahab Femi Agbaje stated this during a working visit to the ongoing-project at the Jebba Water Works in Moro Local Government Area of the state.
Agbaje disclosed that the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has given the ministry a marching order to ensure that all the nooks and crannies of the state have access to clean and potable water supply.
While commending the Engineer handling the project, charged him to speed up the pace and also to ensure its timely completion.
Responding, the project Manager, Engr. Gboyega Durojaye appreciated the Commissioner for the visit and assured him that the project would be completed by or before March 2022.
In his remarks, The President, Jebba Decsendant Union, Alhaji Yusuf Abdulkarim appreciated the State Governor on behalf of all the people of the Community for the fulfilment of his promise to the people of the area and it’s environ.
He also pledged the continuous support of his people to the present administration.
