The Postgraduate Students Association (POGSASS), University of Ilorin has issued an invitation to the general public to partake in its leadership summit scheduled to be held on Thursday 1st August 2024 at the University Main Auditorium.

The summit which is themed “Empowering the future leadership in a dynamic world” is set to gather “key stakeholders” in one place to secure alignment on longer-term strategic direction for future leaders at all levels of government.

According to the President of the Association, Abdullahi Ishaq Toyin, the one-day event is designed to convene leaders and innovators from across the across to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in leadership, navigate its complexities, and offer a place for collaboration, learning, and strategic planning for upcoming leaders.

The keynote address will be delivered by the Chief Press Secretary to Kwara State Governor, Mallam Rafiu Ajakaye, with the programme featuring an interactive session, launching of the POGSASS journal, and honoring of Distinguished Individuals among others.

The Summit is expected to be honored with the presence of the Chief of Staff to the Hon. Minister of State for Youth Development, Mr. Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi; Barrister Ibrahim Atanda, Founder, Ar-Raheem International Schools; Dr. Amos Kayode Gbadewole, MD/CEO, Crown Allied Properties; Mrs. Shade Omoniyi, Executive Chairman, KWIRS; Alhaji AbdulRahman Olayinka Onikijipa, Chairman RTEAN, Kwara State, Engr.
