In the spirit of Justice, fairness and equity, Kwara State is reknowned as a state of peace and our hospitality is second to none in the Nigerian committee of states.

The harmonious relationship we normally enjoy as a state is as a result of our *lrich cultural values which supports equity and Justice to all.

The respect we have for each other, be it the elderly, youths and our women is another strength that binds us all together.

It is in lieu of this that I am inspired to call on all our Progressive brothers and sisters that have crossed to other parties due to their grievances either with some of us or for their efforts at ensuring good governance is brought to their door steps.

I want to also plead on behalf of the genuine progressives in the state that are in the ruling All Progressives Congress that left out folks for the opposition parties as a result of their agitation for Justice for the Kwara North most especially Hon Musa Idris Buko, we know that your agitations are genuine but we felt the time was not right in 2023 but in 2027 we can actually come enmass together for the achievement of your aim and our aim of ensuring equity and Justice.

This agitation cannot actually see the light of the day if we are divided. We know ourselves as unrepentant progressives and as such we have to come together into the progressive fold and fight for what we want as power is not given for free but it’s being fought for.
