The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu says the people of Baruten Local Government Area of the state would deliver massively for all the APC candidates ahead of the September 21st Local Council Elections.
Rt. Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu stated this during the campaign activities for the Chairmanship candidate; Hon. ISA Jibril and all the councilorship candidates of the party.
He reeled out of the achievements of the ruling APC across the sixteen local government areas, especially in Baruten which he described as unprecedented in the history of the northern part of the state.
“The APC under the leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON has been doing wonderfully well across the state in the last five years, the government has touched all the 193 political wards in the state from education to health, agriculture to human capital development, appointment to the empowerment of our women and youths among other infrastructural facilities, the footprints are everywhere,” the Speaker stated.
“I want to assure you that Governor AbdulRazaq is not done yet, he still has a lot of goodies, dividends of democracy for our people, I therefore urge you to come out in large numbers on the 21st day of September to cast your votes for Hon. Isa Jibril and Hon.
Adamu Salamat Sidi as Chairman and Vice-Chairman along with other councilors in the 11 wards of our local government”.
The Speaker was joined by his Okuta/Yashikira counterpart in the Assembly; Hon. Muhammad Baba Salihu, the Kwara State APC Deputy Chairman, Hon Abdullahi Samari, Development officer Baruten LGA; Hon. Umar Asaburu, immediate past TIC Chairman Baruten Local Government; Hon Rashid Lafia, Commissioner II, Civil Service Commission; Hon Adamu Jemilat, Chairman, Baruten APC; Alh Abubakari Setraco and other party stakeholders.
The campaign activities also witnessed the formal reception of the SDP candidate for Okuta/Yashikira in the 2023 election; Hon Azeez Umar Sariki, Koto Yeruma of Yashikura, and his supporters back to APC by the state Deputy Chairman of the party, Alhaji Samari.
The Speaker has toured Ilesha , Bode Babane, Sinawu, Okuta, Boriya, Gure, and Yashikira, the activity continues today.
