On the second day of its Chairmanship and Councillorship campaign, the Patigi All Progressives Congress (APC) continued to draw the campaign curtain with enthusiasm and determination ahead of the local government election slated for September 21, 2024. In a statement signed by the Director of Media and publicity, Hon Usman Yunusa Lade.
The dynamic campaign train, under the leadership of former TIC Chairman and the Director-General of the campaign, Alh. Ibrahim Liman maintained its momentum during the campaign where he reaffirms the party’s commitment and seeks continued support for all candidates from supporters and well wishers.
This reaffirmation of engagement with village heads and the people reflects the APC’s ongoing dedication to fostering unity and strengthening ties within the community.
Led by Alh. Swasun Mohammed, the Patigi APC campaign team, once again presented the party’s flag to its chairmanship candidate, Hon. Adam Rufai, in front of a large, energetic crowd across the remaining wards visited today in the local government.
Director-General Alh. Ibrahim Liman reiterated his pledge to the people on behalf of the party, emphasizing sustainable development and growth throughout the LGA, which aligns with Governor Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s vision for a thriving Kwara State that benefits all.
He urged the residents to continue showing their strong support for the APC, pointing to the significant strides the party has made statewide and the importance of keeping APC leadership strong at the local level.
The campaign train made impactful stops in Patigi Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 3 and 4, before heading to Bongi in Lade Ward 1, Ward 2, and Edogi Chapa in Lade Ward 3, where it eventually draw the campaign curtain as cheers of victory resonated through all the 7 wards visited today.
During these stops, the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Adam Rufai, his vice chairperson, Mrs. Janet Aina and the councilorship candidates for each ward were reintroduced to the public.
