Manko Charity Water Outreach completes Moro project, Shifts Focus to Kaiama LG

Manko Charity Water Outreach has announced the completion of its water project in Moro Local Government Area, and has shifted its focus to Kaiama Local Government Area.

According to a statement by the organization through the Head of Mission, Kolo Babamajin, the completion of the Moro project marks a significant milestone in its mission to provide clean water to rural communities in Kwara State.

The statement reads in full:

The Manko Charity Organisation under HAM FOUNDATION water outreach project team will be moving to Kaiama Local Government for its water intervention scheme.

Hon. Salihu Sadiq Yakub and Hon. Umar Alhassan Aboki has been appointed as the liason officers for Kaiama LG to coordinate and oversee the point of locations across all the wards.

This, on the basis of the need assessment undertaken in line with the foundation’s directive principles.

Bearing in mind the rainfall factors, the project has gotten the approval of the CEO, Alh. Manko to commence immediately.
This after the completion of the nineteen (19 )boreholes across all the seventeen (17) wards. One per each with additional two (2) special considerations.

The foundation reaffirms commitment to the wellbeing of the people across board having access to clean water not basically as a necessity but a fundamental right.
HAM Foundation is supporting the efforts of the state government to expand access according to the SDG goals 6 which is “to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all”.
