HAM Foundation, the Manko’s Charity Organization, is pleased to provide an update on the progress of its Moro Water Intervention Project, Phase 2. As previously announced, the project commenced with the drilling of boreholes to provide clean and accessible water to communities in Moro Local Government Area.
During the first phase of the project, eight boreholes were successfully drilled across seven wards in Moro. Now, as we proceed with Phase 2, our goal is to ensure fair distribution and equitable access to clean water for all seventeen wards in Moro.
To date, a total of one hundred and fifteen boreholes have been drilled across Moro, Patigi, and Edu Local Government Areas. In Moro alone, six boreholes have been completed in the past two weeks, with five remaining to be drilled to fulfill our commitment to all seventeen wards.
The following communities are the immediate beneficiaries of the ongoing Phase 2:
1. EJIDONGARI – SANU
2. OKUTA ALA – ALAFARA
3. OKEMI – AFARIOGUN
4. LANWA – OKEADUAGBA LANWA
5. BODE SAADU – MALETE/VICTORY AREA
6. JEBBA – OSIE
Once the drilling phase in Moro is completed, our water outreach team will proceed to Kaiama and Baruten Local Government Areas to extend the project’s reach across the senatorial district.
At HAM Foundation, we remain committed to our cornerstone approach of fair distribution, ensuring that every community has access to clean water. We thank all stakeholders for their support and collaboration in making this project a reality.
