Alhaji Abdulkadir Adamu Attahiru Manko, chairman of White Waters and CEO of HAM Foundation, met with Kwara State Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to discuss the state’s infrastructure development. Manko praised the governor’s commitment to expanding infrastructure across the state, particularly in Kwara North.

The meeting focused on the governor’s strategic focus on statewide growth, with Manko commending the administration’s development-focused leadership. He highlighted the governor’s efforts to expand infrastructure across the state’s three senatorial districts, including the construction of approximately 295 kilometers of roads valued at around 350 billion naira. This project, undertaken by the BUA Group through a tax credit scheme, has already commenced in the Bode Saadu axis.

During the meeting, Manko reiterated his support for the development framework aimed at Kwara North and other senatorial districts, despite his political inclinations as a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and senatorial candidate in the last elections. He echoed the position of his Royal Highnesses and other major stakeholders from the North, who favor the 2027 transition project aligned with their plea for equity and fairness.

Manko emphasized the importance of equity and fairness in these initiatives and stressed his alignment with the governor’s developmental agenda, despite his political background. He committed to continuing his philanthropic efforts through the HAM Foundation and urged his followers and the people of Kwara to remain committed to the collective responsibility of achieving a greater Kwara.

Manko reassured Governor AbdulRazaq of his continued support and pledged to enhance his philanthropic efforts, recognizing that government efforts alone are insufficient for comprehensive development. He encouraged the governor to continue his development-focused leadership, ensuring that the state’s infrastructure expansion benefits all residents.

This meeting demonstrates the willingness of stakeholders from diverse political backgrounds to collaborate for the betterment of Kwara State, fostering a spirit of unity and progress.
