The Lawmaker representing Omupo State Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon.(Barr.) AGF Salahuddeen, has congratulated all the labour force in Kwara State on the occasion of the 2023 International Worker’s Day.

The Honourable member who doubles as the Chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary, Ethics and privileges spoke at the sidelines of the celebration of Kwara workers which was held at the State’s Metropolitan Square, along Asa Dam Road in Ilorin.

“I want to Congratulate all the civil servants and other workers that make up the Labour force in Kwara State for the successful celebration of the 2023 Workers Day. Over the Past Year, the Labour force in the state have all been head above shoulders in the discharge of their responsibility and commitment to the development of Kwara State.”

“The civil servants in the state are particularly cherished for standing by the Executive Governor of our dear state, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. They repaid the confidence and the good leadership of the Governor by re-electing him into office for another 4years.”

In his concluding remark, the Honorable Member also thanked the Executive Governor of Kwara State for his numerous investment in the civil service force of the state.

“The Governor has invested so much in the Civil service and we have evidently seen the tremendous reform that has taken place in the civil service. The prompt payment of salaries and emoluments for workers and pensioners in the state had never been witnessed considering the haphazard payments that workers were used to before the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.”

He conclusively charged the Leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress in the State to continually support the administration of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the greater good of the state.
