MOK Foundation fosters financial freedom for Women through sewing skills development

The Foundation for Community Development (MOK FOUNDATION) has taken a significant step towards promoting economic empowerment among women by supporting the Sewing Women Association (SWA). This initiative aims to equip members with resources, and opportunities needed to grow their businesses and achieve financial independence.

Through this partnership, the foundation has provided cash donations to 25 individuals in Offa.

“This support will transform my business and my life,” said one of the beneficiaties, SWA President. “We are grateful for the foundation’s belief in our potential and their commitment to empowering women.”

The foundation’s Executive Director, Mr Lawal Saheed, emphasized the importance of women’s economic empowerment: “Women are the backbone of our communities, and by supporting their economic independence, we build stronger, more resilient societies.”

This partnership demonstrates the foundation’s dedication to creating a more equitable and prosperous world, where women can thrive and contribute to the nation’s development.
