NAKSS Dissociates Itself From Presidents Attack on Gov AbdulRazaq

The National Association of Kwara State Students(NAKSS) has dissociated itself from the unfounded attack of the President, Comr. Abdullahi Abdulkadir Wokili levelled against His Excellence, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq said the claim is untrue.

The Association made the disclaim known to the public through a press statement signed by the executives-Vice President(Admin), Comrade Shitttu Adulmalik;
Vice-President Special Duties: Comrade Akeemat Biogera; PRO: Comrade Yemi Bello and others. Emphasizing that the executives never met to have discussed or deliberated on such issue.

The executives also revealed that the Association is non-partisan and it won’t be careless with anyone regardless of status who is trying to bring it down for personal gain.

According to the statement: “It is important to state for the purpose of ensuring the public are properly guided, that at no time did the executive of the Association met to discuss or pass a vote of confidence or otherwise on any political candidate.

“We wish to state that the Association is non-partisan and it is most unfortunate that the supposed leader of the Union is attempting to drag the noble association into politics for personal reasons, against the oath sworn by him to be fair and just in discharge of his duty as the President” it revealed.

It also uncovered in detailed the successes the Association has recorded under the leadership of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq he recently condemned.

According to the statement: “For emphasis sake, the following are some of the State government interventions for the benefit of students in recent times, for which the president himself had signed series of appreciation letters directed to the Governor:
1) Scholarship was given to 179 students of Kwara Origin in law schools across the country to the tune of 17.9m. All of which are out member.
3) Approval of #41m+ as general bursary for kwara state indigenes in tertiary institutions within the country.
3)Release of 10 million Naira scholarship to Muhammed Giwa to study master in business Administration at the prestigious University of Cambridge
4) Approval of 15million Naira as scholarship grant to Mr Abdulrasheed Bolaji Ijaodola to enable him study LLM Programme in Law, Science and Technology in Stanford university, UK
5) Released of 70million Naira out of the approved 100million Naira for the completion of female hostel at College of Nursing Oke-Ode.
6) Release of 100million for the completion of 1000 seating capacity auditorium at the Kwara state Polytechnic (this happen to be the school of the National President of NAKSS)” it revealed.

It was also revealed that the decision of the President was politically motivated that the Association isn’t going to treat that with triviality. The executives therefore assured the fellow NAKSSites of their commitment towards protection of the constitution and their readiness to lay bare anyone trying to do otherwise.
