The indigenous students’ union association, National Association of Kwara State Student (NAKSS) Kwara State Polytechnic chapter, office of the NAKSS President, Sen. Adeyanju Sunday Thomas, has awarded some selected personalities with Leadership Awards in Kwara.
According to the NAKSS President, Comrade Sunday Thomas, noted that the awardees were carefully selected in recognition of their positive contribution towards the upliftment of the youths and students in the state.
In a First Edition Entrepreneurship context organized by the NAKSS, kwara state polytechnic chapter, with the theme “Unemployment through entrepreneurship measures” held in Banquet Hall, GRA, Ilorin, yesterday, 28th October, 2021.
The programme attended by Governor, able represented by SSG, Prof. Mamman Saba, Commissioner of Tertiary Education and Technology, Hon. Barr. Senior Sulyman Ibrahim and other dignitaries were awarded leadership award.
During his address, The Commissioner who delivered a speech titled, ‘Unemployment through entrepreneurship measures’ described the youths as kwara future.
He said: “The youths particularly the students represent the future of Kwara state. I speak to you today about all facts about leadership and how to maintain leadership. Simply speaking, self-confidence refers to confidence in oneself, it is considered as one of the qualities of being a good leader.
