The National Association of Polytechnic Engineering Students (NAPES) Kwara State Polytechnic Chapter proudly announces the 2024 Annual Engr. Rotimi Iliasu Suleiman Quiz and Debate Competition. Scheduled for Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, the event will take place at the esteemed Admiral Muhammad Alabi Lawal Auditorium, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.

Themed “Engineering Solutions to Persistent Nigerian’s Challenges,” this year’s competition aims to harness the innovative prowess of engineering students towards addressing the enduring challenges faced by Nigeria. By fostering intellectual discourse and innovative thinking, the event seeks to inspire actionable solutions that can drive tangible change in the nation.

The distinguished Hon Sulieman Rotimi Iliasu will be honored at the event, recognizing his significant contributions to the engineering sector and his commitment to fostering excellence among Nigerian youth.

Hon Lawal Ayanshola Salihu will serve as the Chairman of the day, overseeing the proceedings with distinction and grace.

The event will feature a keynote address by the esteemed Engr. Prof. Temitope Elizabeth Odetoye, offering insights and perspectives on the role of engineering in addressing Nigeria’s challenges.

Spearheading the event as the host is Sen. Sanni AbdulRahaman Olasunkanmi, underscoring the importance of political support and collaboration in driving meaningful change through engineering solutions.
