Omupo Constituency holds Stakeholders meeting, endorses Leko as Ifelodun APC Chair

Earlier yesterday, at APC Ward Secretariat in Omupo, The APC Stakeholders in Omupo Constituency of Ifelodun Local Government in Kwara has come to meeting in to foster progress APC in Ifelodun Local Government.

The Omupo Constituency meeting was organised by the Honourable Representing Omupo Constituency at the Kwara state House of Assembly, Hon. AGF Salahuddeen.

Recall that the stakeholders met at the office of Hon. AGF Salahuddeen, Honorable representing Omupo Constituency at the Kwara state House of Assembly to discuss issues follow the Suspension/ Resignation of the former Ifelodun APC Chairman, Hon. Abdulateef Quadri.

They met to discuss how to choose another candidate for the position, the suspended Chairman was from Omupo Constituency, a brother to Share/Oke ode Constituency of Ifelodun Local Government.

Hon. AGF Salahuddeen, on his speech, he welcome all stakeholders to the meeting and tasks then to be more committed to the progress of Kwara APC led administration under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahaman Abdulrazaq.

“The roads project ongoing by the Government will soon be accomplished, there are many supports from Kwasip which will help during economic reform” he added.

On his behalf, Hon. Suleiman Lawal Duduyemi, The Youth Leader, Kwara APC, described the meeting as a progressive one that will promote our constituency in politics and governance.

“This is the time to produce the Next Council Chairman of our Local Government, we can only achieve this with unity. If have lose many positions in this Omupo Constituency due do unnecessary crisis “.

The stakeholders and the Congress in Omupo Constituency unanimously agreed on the nomination of Alhaji Fatai Mustapha Leko to be the next APC Chairman of the Ifelodun Local Government, Alhaji Leko was the APC Ward Chairman of Idofian ward II and also the Chairman of all wards Chairman in Ifelodun Local Government.

In attendance are, TIC Vice Chairman, Ife; Hon. Atoyebi Toyibah, Kwara APC Youth Leader , Hon Suleiman Lawal Duduyemi, TIC Supervisory for Health, Ifelodun Local Government; Hon. Abdulkareem Success, Party Stakeholders, APC Ward Party Chairman in Omupo Constituency, APC Ward Secretary, APC ward Women Leaders, APC ward Youth Leaders and Party members accross Omupo Constituency.
