Prof Wale Sulaimon, Dr. Toba Oloyode, and Hon. Jide Oyinloye Bar Obayomi Azeez Olaitan bags awards at the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) education summit hosted by Kwara State College of Education, Oro, on the 16th of February, on their campus.
The Provost, Prof. Mukaila Ayanda Aremu gave the opening address which he thanked NANS for choosing their citadel of learning as host of the summit. He showed his satisfaction in the summit organized as it is geared towards promoting quality education and is concerned about the increased moral decadence in the society.
Comr Adebayo Kayode Joshua -NANS Executive Project and Empowerment Secretary who convey the event said “there is no better time than now to address the ravaging issue of moral decadence because if we fail to curb it, our society will suffer the lose and experience a setback in all ramification”.
“The critical stakeholders in the education sector particularly government must promulgate laws that will help to curb immortal acts that are spreading like wildfire in our country”, he added.
Adebayo also unveiled the NANS Campaign against Immoral acts, Prof Mukaila Ayanda Aremu Provost COED Oro, Hon Omotayo Awodiji Felix Representing Irepodun Local Government Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof Wale Sulaiman Founder RNZ Foundation, Dr. Toba Oloyede, Hon Jide Oyinloye TIC Chairman of Irepodun Local Government and other dignitaries sign the pact meant to sensitize students on immoral acts.
