Earlier today, staffs and volunteers of the not-for-profit organization; Mo Brimah Foundation gave out food materials to households within Ilorin, particularly the Ilorin South and Ilorin East Local Governments. The organization dolls out food items as supplements to aid the observation of fasting in the month of Ramadan. The non-bias NGO gives the food material out to persons of all faith, as inclusiveness is what Ramadan preaches.
Members of the implementation committee noted that Nigeria and the world at large is in the process of recovering from the hardship prompted by the outbreak of Covid-19 and other crises that people have met with in the last few years. They stated that the foods item being shared are to help people in the month of Ramadan and to ameliorate the effect of the economic hardship on them as they answer the call of Allah to fast, pray, and do other acts of Ibadah.
Members of the team noted that it is important for Muslim faithfuls across Kwara State to pray for the success of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Governor of Kwara State. They extended the request to include the activities of Mohammed Brimah, the GM of Kwara State Social Investment Programme.
