Walking to school barefoot or in torn sandals not only affects their physical well-being but also impacts their self-esteem and academic performance. Recognizing this pressing issue, Project SIP was launched to address the footwear needs of pupils in government-owned schools, fostering an environment where education can thrive.
Since its inception, Project SIP has made a remarkable impact across 11 out of 16 local government areas in Kwara State. The initiative has reached 13 schools, providing thousands of students with new sandals that empower them to walk to school with pride. As the initiative continues to grow, the team is excited to unveil the fourth edition, tagged Project SIP 4.0, on Friday, September 20, 2024.
