… Seeks God’s forgiveness for dead Staff
The Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Alabi Afees Abolore has charged the Management and Staff of the Ministry to remain steadfast and committed to their Job in order to achieve more successes in 2023.
Dr. Abolore gave the charge during a New Year meeting, which had in attendance the Management of the Ministry, who offered prayers for the departed souls of the late Permanent Secretary, Hajia Sidikat Alaya and Director, Continuing Education, Alhaji Moshood Adebayo Suleiman, who both died in 2022.
The prayer session was also observed in commemoration of the Ministry’s expectations in the year 2023.
The Commissioner applauded the commitment and dedication to duty by the staff of the Ministry, noting that “all Staff have demonstrated commitment, passion and hardwork at ensuring the growth and development of this Ministry in recent time which makes you an amazing team to work with”.
Dr. Abolore implored the Management and Staff of the Ministry to sow seeds of dedication, hard work, and commitment, pointing out that the reward shall yield fruits of happiness and successes in the new year and beyond.
He also enjoined them to take their health issues and general well-being with utmost priority by engaging in routine health checks to avoid system breakdown.
“Your Families are a significant part of you, ensure you cultivate a robust relationship and companionship with them”, the Commissioner added
Earlier, the Director, Continuing Education, Elder Joseph Afolayan, on behalf of the Management and Staff, expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for his words of wisdom and promised to adhere strictly to his admonition for the new year.
The Acting Director, Personnel, Finance and Supply, Mrs. Florence Balogun thanked the Commissioner for his exemplary leadership style in ensuring harmonized synergy within the Directorates of the Ministry and Tertiary Institutions in the State.
