Tension arises in the Mogaji Ngeri constituency APC meeting as stakeholders clash over choosing a candidate to represent Hon Olawoyin at Kwara State House Assembly.

The Mogaji Ngeri Constituency comprises five wards which are Baboko, Magaji Ngeri, Oko Erin, Osin and Badari.

It can be recalled that Hon Olawoyin was before his death, the 9th Kwara State House of Assembly Leader died on Monday 9 January 2023.

A source who pleaded not to be named said that one of the state stakeholders called during the meeting and impose a candidate to replace Hon Olawoyin over the representative of each ward in Magaji Ngeri, adding that they all refused as the meeting ended in deadlock.
