The chances of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate in Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf has been further brightened with the declaration of support for his candidacy by Ifelodun based transport union.

In a statement signed by the Director of Media and publicity, Abdulrasheed Akogun, The union, Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN) Ifelodun branch at a recent enlarged meeting with the APC flagbearer, described him as a long standing friend and ally of the Union, stressing that they’re sure he’ll prioritise the union’s interest when elected.

Speaking at the meeting, MOUN Chairman, Mr. Ogunleru Olamide said “You’ve always been part and parcel of us, your emergence brought joy to our union, that truly, the APC has done a huge favour for our union.

“For us, your emergence in Ifelodun and that of our State Chairman, Hon. Abdulazeez in Irepodun as APC’s Chairmanship flagbearer has shown that the leadership of the APC values and appreciates MOUN, therefore our members will not only massively vote for the APC, we’ll mobilise votes for the party from across the communities” he added.

Appreciating the transport union for their support, Hon. Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf said “It is a reality that virtually the entirety of Ifelodun local government is rural areas, therefore one of the major challenges we must tackle is access road between communities.

“We’ll ensure that we have a standby grader to open up most of our communities. If we’re able to achieve that, it will ease your work as transporters.

“This union is dear to me, what I need is more than your vote, I want you to govern with me after my emergence.

“With the presence of your union in the nooks and crannies of the local government, I want you to be my uncoloured information access.

“My doors will always be open, I want you to tell me the truth at all times, I want to have access to the feelings on the street from you, uncensored and uncoloured” he added
