It was all excitement in Tsaragi today as Abubakar Saddiq Buhari (BuhariofKwara) holds rally for the second term bid of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, an event that was well attended by the representatives of the three Emirs in Edu LGA, 10 Etsu Yankpas (Village Heads), Edu APC Chairman and all other ward EXCOS, TIC Chairman, APC House of Reps candidate for Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, APC House of Assembly Candidate for Edu Constituency, SSA Job Creation, SSA water Resources, Former Aspirant for Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, Abdullahi Salihu Danlami (Last Born), Representatives of Christian Association of Nigeria CAN and Chief Imams of the three Emirates in Edu Local Government, NUT and NULGE Representatives, NURTW, Fulani and Hausa Community Representatives, the people of Edu LGA, across all the 10 wards.
BuhariofKwara in his speech reeled out the achievements of the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq APC led administration amid loud cheers.
In his address, Saddiq Buhari listed the roads and schools constructed, water projects, Gbugbu international market, covering the three districts of Tsaragi, Lafiagi, Tsonga and the ten wards of Edu LGA, Governor Abdulrahman’s timely and patriotic financial intervention in the College of Education, Lafiagi to end their over 8months strike and recently implemented an over 7years agreement with them, his first of its kind transparent, fair and efficient recruitment of teachers into SUBEB and TESCOM in Kwara State, prompt payment of salaries and implementation of the new national minimum wage, payment of the several years accumulated pension and gratuity, perimeter fencing of the NYSC permanent orientation camp at Yokohama which it openness has continued to endanger the lives of the NYSC Members and workers etc.
In his words “with all I have listed and those I couldn’t list because of how voluminous the projects of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq are, I am seeking for your support enmass to return Governor AbdulRahman elected come 2023 elections, as I want you to do for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections”
Saddiq Buhari also announced the distribution of 200 bags of rice to people across the 10 wards of Edu LGA to cushion the current global inflation being experienced as Kwara State and Edu LGA is not isolated from it.
Speakers took turn to praise his administration for fulfilling his campaign promises, prayed for the continued success of his administration and promised to deliver majority of votes from Edu LGA for the Governor and APC because they have no better choice, but to move forward together with a performing Governor who has managed the affairs of the state excellently well.
