The Lekan Adewoye Forward (LAF) movement has called on its supporters and stakeholders across Kwara South to put the recently concluded party primaries behind them and unite for the task ahead.
In a statement released after the primaries, the movement described the exercise as an important phase of the political process, stressing that the greater responsibility now is to work together to secure victory in the forthcoming elections.
According to the statement, while the contest for the party ticket has ended, the collective mission of advancing the interests of Kwara South remains paramount.
“The primaries are over. The real task begins. This is the time to close ranks, heal every wound, and channel our collective energy toward the greater goal of delivering victory,” the statement read.
The movement urged party members, supporters, volunteers, and stakeholders to embrace unity, noting that the strength of the LAF movement lies in its shared vision for a more prosperous Kwara South rather than in individual differences.
It further called on members to replace division with collaboration, rivalry with teamwork, and uncertainty with hope as preparations intensify for the campaign season.
The statement reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to taking its message of purposeful leadership and development to every ward, every local government, and every community across Kwara South.
Reiterating its campaign slogan, the movement declared that with unity, dedication, and the support of the people, “LAF Forward is Kwara South Forward,” expressing confidence that the future remains bright under the vision of Lekan Adewoye Forward.
The statement concluded by reaffirming the movement’s belief in its guiding principle.
