The turbaning ceremony of newly elected President of Ilorin Emirate Students’ Union (National Headquarters), Sheikh Atunluse was held at Emir Palace, Ilorin on 25th March, 2022.

Ilorin Emirate is a city of unique blessed with beautiful cultures, among which is the turbaning of the royal officials.

Ilorin Emirate Students’ Union National Headquarters being one of the body under Ilorin Emirate, representing all Ilorite students schooling home and diaspora also held a turbaning ceremony at the Emir palace, Ilorin, Kwara State

The body is responsible for overseeing the welfarism of Ilorite students in every tertiary institution across the country and outside.

This ceremony was held in commemoration of the newly Inaugurated National President, Sheikh Atunluse and his co-executives, that were elected recently to pilot the affairs of the union till the next coming year.

This beautiful and colourful event was held at Emir’s Palace, Ilorin and some prominent personalities were in attendance, among which are the Seriki Dongari of Ilorin; The Director Centre for Islamic Heritage,
Alhikmah University Ilorin, Prof Assayuti Ologele; Dean faculty of humanities, and social sciences Alhikmah University Ilorin Prof LF Oladimeji; the Emir’s personal Assistant, Alh. Muritadoh; some Royal Chiefs, all Emirate local chapters president and others.

The National President, Sheikh Atunluse after being turbaned received Royal blessings from the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari (CFR).
