The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commended Air Vice Marshal L.I. Oluwatoyin for his meritorious service to the nation, urging other indigenes of Ilorin Emirate to emulate his dedication and commitment to public service.

The Emir made this appeal while receiving AVM Oluwatoyin at his palace in Ilorin, where a mini reception was organized by the Oke Ogun community to honor the retired senior officer. Dr. Sulu-Gambari described AVM Oluwatoyin as a pride of the Ilorin Emirate, noting that he used his position to improve the lives of Kwarans, regardless of their backgrounds.

The Emir praised AVM Oluwatoyin for his selfless service, stating that he has set an example for others to follow. He wished him success in his future endeavors, accompanied by sound health and divine guidance.

Prominent sons and daughters of the Oke Ogun community, including Ajia Ijesha, Alangua Oke Ogun, Magaji Akanni, and other dignitaries, attended the event.

AVM Oluwatoyin, a respected son of Ilorin, recently retired from active service after a distinguished career in the Nigerian Air Force, leaving behind a legacy of service, sacrifice, and dedication.
