Kwara Gov aide, Solace reaffirms commitment to unity after Installation as Aare Bobajiroro of Oko-Irese

The newly installed Aare Bobájiròrò of Oko-Irese, Akeweje Olayinka Fafoluyi, has reaffirmed his commitment to the values of unity, peace, and progress of Oko-Irese, Irepodun Local Government, and Kwara State at large.

In a statement following his installation, Fafoluyi expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, describing him as a father and mentor whose unwavering support and dedication to promoting tradition and culture continue to inspire him and many others across the state.

He also congratulated His Royal Highness, Oba Victor Oluwafemi Olawuyi (Adogunnibo I), the Oloko of Oko-Irese, on his 20th anniversary on the throne of his forebears, appreciating him for conferring the chieftaincy title of Aare Bobájiròrò upon him.

According to Fafoluyi, the honour represents a personal milestone and a call to deeper service to his community, heritage, and humanity at large. He prayed for a peaceful and prosperous reign for Oba Olawuyi and continuous growth for the Oko-Irese community.

He further appreciated the Irepodun Traditional Council under Oba Ismail Yahya Alebiosu, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, the Alaran-in-Council led by Oba Joseph Oyeyipo Babalola, the Alaran of Aran-Orin, as well as members of the Kwara State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, the Honourable Commissioner for Works, Hon. Abdulquowiy Olododo, and other government officials who attended the occasion.

Fafoluyi also extended his gratitude to members of the Kwara APC family, stakeholders, friends, and well-wishers for their presence, prayers, and encouragement during the ceremony, describing the event as a memorable and fulfilling moment.

“As Aare Bobájiròrò, I reaffirm my dedication to the values of unity, progress, and development of our beloved Oko-Irese land and Kwara State at large. May our collective efforts continue to strengthen the bonds of peace and prosperity in Oko-Irese, Kwara State, and our dear country, Nigeria,” he stated.
