Earlier yesterday, The Kwara State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Sulaiman Lawal Duduyemi organized a program tagged “ Unvelling and Inauguration of APC Kwara 2023 Youth Campaign Structures”.
This program was aimed at Inaugurating the Youth Advisory Council that are to work strategically in the coming 2023 general Election.
The Youth advisory council constituted Six youths that were thoroughly selected across different local governments and wards in kwara state.
Hon Lawal Duduyemi while stating the criteria used to select the Youth Advisory Council said the people that were selected undergone thorough screenings which the qualified people were those that have served in different political offices and held different positions, intellectual and well experienced people, and we are sure they will deliver the task given to them unexpectedly.
He further welcomed His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, The Deputy Governor of kwara State, Hon Kayode Alabi, the Senators , the commissioners, party stakeholders , all forums and other attendees to the peaceful Youth Advisory Council Inauguration.
“In history of Kwara politics, What APC is doing today under the leadership of Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Prince Sunday Fagbemi is the first of its kind because the government of today has drawn a better plan for Youths and Kwarans in general”, he said.
I hereby use this moment to urge the selected advisory council to honor the task given to them and try their possible best to execute the responsibilities bestowed on them”, he remarked.
Kwara APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi said in his speech that those that we inaugurated today is for the purpose of electioneering our campaign towards the upcoming election, as we all know that women and youth occupy great numbers of the voters.
We implore each and everyone to shun abusive words of campaign, they should use the so far achievement of His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in Kwara State to campaign, this will increase people’s love and interest for our party.
Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hon. Hafeez Alabi Abolore spoke on behalf of his co-appointees said “we appreciate the kwara State APC for deeming us fit for the task and we promise to deliver and execute the duty bestowed on us and we believe by the end of the day we shall have the cause to celebrate victory and glorify God’s name.
The Youth Advisory Council that were inaugurated are Hon Alakawa Gidado is the Chairman of the Committee, Hon Commissioner for Agriculture ; Hon. Olasumbo Florence, Honourable Commissioner for Finance; Hon Alabi Afees Abolore, Commissioner for Tertiary; Hon Femi White, Hon Muhammed Muhammad; Hon Nafisat Buge, member
