President Tinubu, Gov. AbdulRazaq Have Done the Best for Us: Olupako of Share

The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Hadji Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf, has received the newly trained Forest Guard officers of the National Park Service at the Local Government Secretariat, Share, on Monday.

He received the officers alongside the Olupako of Share, HRH Oba Suleiman Olawale Adegbite, and other management staff of the Local Government.

The Chairman stated that the newly trained officers were formerly members of local vigilante groups who had consistently contributed to peace and stability across the Local Government.

“It is time to give your all to eliminate kidnapping, banditry, and other criminal activities in the Local Government. We recognise all that you have done, and the government is ready to give total support.

“Those fallen officers remain in our hearts; they have written their names for posterity, and the government will always support their families.

“We have pledged our support. Everyone will be provided with necessary gadgets before deployment to enhance and improve operations. We are always with you – – go and restore peace and normalcy to our communities,” he said.

The Olupako of Share, HRH Oba Suleiman Olawale Adegbite, lauded the efforts of the Federal Government and the Kwara State Government for decisively addressing security challenges across localities.

“We appreciate all the efforts of government. Traditional rulers acknowledge these interventions and we do not take them for granted. We will support the Forest Guards to achieve positive results,” he said.

Other dignitaries at the event included the Local Government DPM, Mallam Ayinde Ganiyu Salmon; Local Government Treasurer, Mallam Usman Waheed; HOD Admin, Alhaji Salman Akanni; Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Chief Ademola Zubair; Share I Councillor, Hon. Ahmed Babatunde, and other stakeholders.
