Earlier today, critical stakeholders across the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency converged at Omo Ibile Igbomina House for an interactive political engagement organised by Engr. Azeez Abiodun Olaniyan, as political activities ahead of the forthcoming general elections continue to intensify across the constituency.
The engagement attracted party leaders, community stakeholders, youth representatives, women groups, political associates, and supporters from Ifelodun, Offa, and Oyun local government areas to deliberate on issues affecting the constituency and discuss practical pathways for sustainable development and effective representation.
Speaking during the session, Engr. Olaniyan unveiled his Five-Point Agenda, emphasizing inclusive leadership, grassroots participation, youth empowerment, economic growth, infrastructure development, and improved welfare for constituents across the federal constituency.
He noted that consistent engagement with the people remains essential in addressing socio-economic challenges and strengthening democratic participation at the grassroots level.
According to him, the forum was organised to promote unity among party faithful, encourage collaboration among stakeholders, and create an avenue for constituents to contribute ideas capable of advancing the growth and development of the constituency.
Participants at the meeting described the initiative as timely and people-oriented, stressing the importance of regular consultations between political aspirants and the grassroots to ensure responsive representation and deepen democratic values.
The gathering also featured extensive discussions on youth empowerment, education, infrastructure, healthcare, economic opportunities, and strategies for strengthening the All Progressives Congress within the constituency ahead of future political engagements.
Stakeholders at the event further called for unity, peaceful collaboration, and sustained commitment towards the overall progress and development of the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency.
