The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Kwara South, Prince Olalekan Adewoye, on Saturday received royal blessings from His Royal Majesty, Oba Ibikunle Olapade Adekanye Aleniloye Awonbiogbon I, the Alaran of Arandun, during a courtesy visit to the monarch’s palace as part of his engagements ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The visit, held at the Alaran’s Palace in Arandun, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, forms part of Prince Adewoye’s ongoing consultations with traditional institutions across the seven local government areas of Kwara South.

In his prayers for the APC standard-bearer, the revered monarch invoked divine wisdom, strength, protection, and guidance upon Prince Adewoye, while praying for a successful political journey and a peaceful, credible electoral process in 2027.

In a further demonstration of unity and inclusiveness, Muslim and Christian clerics also offered special interfaith prayers for the APC candidate, seeking God’s favour, good health, and wisdom as he continues his consultations and prepares for the forthcoming elections.

The event attracted traditional chiefs, political leaders, APC faithful, community stakeholders, youth and women groups, as well as supporters who gathered to witness the royal reception and prayer session.

The interfaith prayers reflected the shared aspirations of the people for peace, unity, and sustainable development across Kwara South.
