Hon Saidu Ahmed Baba was born on 27 December, 1973 in Bani town of Kaiama LGA to the family of Alh Ahmed and Ajiya Hureirah.
His parents, known for their discipline, integrity and principles; Hon (Alh) Saidu Ahmed Baba was privileged to be morally, Islamically and educationally brought up and enlightened.
He attended Z.E.B Primary school, Bani in 1982–87 and proceeded to Nigerian Army Day Secondary school, Sanni Abacha Barracks, Asokoro where he obtained his SSCE.
In quest for more knowledge, he attended Justice Fati Lami Abubakar College of Arts and Islamic Legal Studies where he obtained Diploma in Shariah and Common Law.
He was a Supervisory Councilor for Health and Agriculture and Natural Resources in Kaiama LGA (1996–97).
Hon Saidu was a Board Member of Kwara State Council for Arts and Culture (1999—2003). Also a Board Member of Kwara State Sports Council (2012—15). And a Council Member for Kwara State College of Education (2016—2019)
In 2019, Hon Saidu Baba was elected under the platform of APC to the 9th Assembly to represent the good people of Gwanabe/Gweria/Bani/Adena in Kwara State House of Assembly.
Due to his selfless service to humanity, he was reelected to the 10th Assembly to continue the good work he is known for, under the leadership of Rt Hon Engr Salihu Yakubu Danladi, Speaker of the 9th and 10th Assembly and the APC Governorship candidate for 2027 general elections.
As the Chairman of House Service Committee, Member of Ethics, Privileges and Judiciary; Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs: he continually contributes significantly in the Affairs of the House and that which affects the common man.
There is no reward for good or kindness than goodness and kindness. The good people of Baruten/Kaiama APC family saw the leadership quality in Hon Saidu Ahmed Baba and gave him the ticket to contest for the seat of Federal House of Representative.
No doubt, the candidature of Hon SAB is a round peg in a round hole.
