Hadji Femi Yusuf Welcomes New NULGE Executive, Calls for Synergy in Progress

The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Hadji Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf, has urged the newly inaugurated executive of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ifelodun Chapter, to join hands in advancing the progress of Ifelodun Local Government.

H e made this call during a meeting with the outgoing and newly inaugurated executives on Monday.

The Chairman appreciated the peaceful conduct of the election and commended the outgoing Chairman, Comrade Sunday Aransiola, for his maturity and leadership. He acknowledged his achievements and the legacy left behind during his tenure.

The Chairman also called on the newly inaugurated executive, led by Comrade Olarinoye Isiaka Abioye, to work together towards making the Local Government a leading example.

“It should be a key priority as you take up this responsibility to position our Local Government on its best path. You are stepping in at a time when we are diligently working to improve every part of the system,” he said.

“I have assured that staff welfare, capacity development training for members, and adequate security for local government staff will be our top priorities. However, my administration will not tolerate truancy and lateness to work, and I seek your support in maintaining discipline,” he added.

In his remarks, Comrade Sunday Aransiola thanked his co-executives and NULGE members for their support during his tenure. He urged the new executive to work in harmony with the Executive Chairman, who remains dedicated to the welfare of the Local Government.

On his part, the new Chairman, Comrade Olarinoye Isiaka Abioye, expressed gratitude to his supporters and members, pledging to uphold integrity and diligence in his duties. He committed to fostering the growth of Ifelodun under his leadership.

The Director of Personnel Management (DPM), Mallam Idris Ibrahim urged the new executive to prioritize staff discipline and regular attendance at work. He concluded by calling for continued cooperation to achieve a shared vision for the development of Ifelodun Local Government.
