Saturday, dated 19th November 2022, GDSS Amule was filled to the brim with the crowd over the organized Special Prayer for all APC candidates by Ibagun Ward APC members.

The prayer also encompassed awards given to some prominent personalities and the inauguration of over 600 House-to-House canvassers that will work towards the successful 2023 general elections.

The Ibagun Ward APC chairman in his opening remark appreciated the presence of all the personalities and others on the seat for taking out of their busy schedule to grace the program, especially thanks to the GM of Kwara State Social Investment program (KWASSIP), Hon. Abdulqowiy Olododo for playing a vital role as a convener of the program.

Hon Olododo said while he was delivering his speech that “Ibagun Ward is one of the strongest Political Ward in Kwara State who played unforgettable roles in ensuring the success of the Otogé revolution in the last election.

He further gave the tonic of encouragement to the inaugurated canvassers not to relent in executing their duty, saying that the 2023 general election is around the corner and this is the right time to kick-start the campaign.

“Our achievements in Kwara State in terms of renovation of schools across the 16 LGA, construction of reliable roads, infrastructures, payment of workers salaries as at when due, uplifting less privileges and others that we were able to executed within four years is a great feat which Kwarans have never experienced from the past administrations, adding that Kwara citizens should let them know that we are not going back to the era of deception, where we cannot afford to take our daily meals”, he said

The Awardees are His Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Ambassador Yahyah Seriki, Mallam Solihu Mustapha, Hon Ibrahim Akaje, Hon Abdulqowiy Olododo, Hajiya Fatimah Arinola Lawal, Hon Yinka Aluko and others.
