The Alumni Association of Kwara State College of Education (KWCOED) has honored Hon. AGF Salahuddeen, Honorable representing Omupo Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, with a prestigious merit award as part of the institution’s 50th-anniversary celebration.

The award ceremony took place on Wednesday at Hall B of the college, recognizing Hon. AGF Salahuddeen’s significant contributions to the institution and its alumni community.

Speaking on the recognition, the organizers praised Hon. Salahuddeen for his unwavering support and accessibility, noting that he has been a pillar of progress for the alumni body.

“Hon. AGF Salahuddeen has been doing great things for the alumni, even though he is one of us. We are happy to have him; he is accessible anytime, any day,” they said.

In his acceptance speech, Hon. AGF Salahuddeen expressed gratitude for the honor and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the alumni association and the college. “I sincerely appreciate this gesture, and I promise to continue doing more,” he stated.
