Ladan Flags Off Free ICT training for 1,000 Youths in Ilorin West

Hon. Shehu Abdulrahaman Babatunde Ladan, Executive Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, has officially launched a free ICT training program designed to empower 1,000 youths with essential digital skills.

 

The flag-off ceremony took place today at the Ilorin West Local Government CBT Centre, Kuntu.

The initiative provides an invaluable opportunity for young people across Ilorin West to gain in-demand ICT skills, enhancing their employability and boosting career prospects.

Registration is free, and forms are available across all 12 wards of Ilorin West.

The program, which requires only an SSCE result for eligibility, offers certified training sessions to help foster economic growth within the community. Training will be held at the Local Government CBT Centre on Agbo-oba Road, opposite Blue Mist Table Water.

Hon. Ladan emphasized the importance of youth empowerment in today’s digital economy, encouraging young residents to seize this opportunity to build a brighter future.
