The Lekan Adewoye Foundation (LAF) has made a significant impact in Kwara South communities by empowering over 2000 individuals with essential items and resources. This philanthropic mission, aimed at enhancing livelihoods and fostering economic growth, provided beneficiaries with food items, cash support, grinding machines, sewing machines, and other vital tools.
Founder of LAF, Prince Lekan Adewoye, expressed the foundation’s longstanding commitment to transforming lives. He emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in improving communities, highlighting the foundation’s focus on poverty alleviation, healthcare, and education.
The event garnered praise from dignitaries such as the Speaker of the Kwara State House Of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Saliu Yakubu Danladi, who represented the Kwara State Governor. He commended LAF for its impactful empowerment initiatives, aligning with the state government’s goals for community development.
The Olupo of Ajase Ipo and Chairman of the Igbomina traditional council, Oba Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu, also lauded the foundation’s efforts, emphasizing the importance of supporting those in need.
