As the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kwara State sent warm wishes to the people of Kwara, urging them to stay hopeful and united in the face of challenges.
In a heartfelt statement, State Secretary Ibrahim Olamilekan Quadri expressed the party’s commitment to the common man, saying, “We’re not just a party of elites, we’re a party of the people, for the people, and by the people.”
The SDP is rolling up its sleeves, reconnecting with the grassroots, and getting ready to make a real difference in Kwara State.
The party knows the going has been tough, with economic struggles, insecurity, and social divisions. But the SDP is undeterred.
“We’re the alternative,” Quadri declared. “We’re here to deliver a Kwara that works for everyone – market women, struggling youth, farmers, civil servants, artisans, and all who believe in a better tomorrow.”
The SDP is calling on Kwarans to join the movement, to be part of shaping a brighter future. “This is your party,” the statement said. “Let’s move forward together – PROGRESS! ESIN FUNFUN! GBERA!”
