2023: We are fully ready to mobilize students for the success of the Turaki of Ilorin – TSSO

Earlier today, dated 28th September 2022, the Turaki Students Support Organization, TSSO organized a press conference themed “The Need for Quality Representation” at Fun City Hall, Fate, Ilorin.

The Press brief was delivered by the coordinator of the organization, AbdulRauf Taofeeq Alada, who after his greetings to the audience, reveal that the student body support group formed for the APC Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin, is for the continuous collaboration, massive support, and mobilization of students across the Kwara Central for Mallam Saliu Mustapha victory comes the 2023 general election.

“Since its formation, the organization has been working collectively with the important students’ bodies and has appointed Deputy Coordinator and Public Relations Officers across the Local Government Areas in Kwara Central. These appointed individuals are well-known unbiased student members that the Organization feel will represent the interests of the students of their respective Local Governments”, he furthered in his speech.

He reflected that all that has been put in place has come for nothing but for the immense contributions and educational development Mallam Saliu has done particularly through his foundation that has touched the lives of thousands of students across Kwara state as a whole.

Mentioning some of his contributions, he made noted the payment of WAEC fees for over 30,000 students in the last three years across the Senatorial districts in Kwara State, Educational Scholarships for thousands of students across all levels, Payment of Jamb fees for over 30,000 Kwara students across the Senatorial districts, periodic campus intervention for both undergraduate and Postgraduate associations in tertiary institutions, school fees interventions for indigent students, organizations of inter-secondary school Mathematics and English language debates across the state where the best performance participants were awarded education scholarships for undergraduate programs.

“As part of his contentious efforts to promote education and youth development in Kwara State, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin and APC Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate through his foundation, Saliu Mustapha Foundation (S.M.F) sponsored over a hundred trainees for advanced optic fiber technology in collaboration with Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute NBRI graduates.
At the end of the exercise, participants were awarded N500,000 worth of tools and equipment”, he added.

“Distinguished Stakeholders and Gentlemen of the press, we are proud of these modest accomplishments and on this occasion, the TSSO is organized to make all this important show of reciprocatory support as we continue to believe the Turaki of Ilorin will do multiple of these aforementioned achievements when he’s finally elected the Senator that will represent Kwara central in the coming 2023 general election. Hence, we are ready to massively mobilize our fellow students for the success of the Turaki of Ilorin, Mallam Saliu Mustapha in the 2023 election”, the brief ended.
